Support and introduction
If you would like to meet someone who works with us for individual consultations, you are always welcome to contact us, to book an appointment or just drop by.
The conversations are open to people living with HIV and/or their close relatives. You can book an appointment yourself, or ask your infectious disease clinic to help you get in touch.
Introductory meeting
An introductory conversation is especially helpful if you have not visited us before, or if it has been a long time since your last visit. During this first meeting, you are welcome to talk about your needs if you wish, and we will also explain what we offer and how our services work.
We can often meet you elsewhere and help you find your way to us if you have difficulty locating the building. If you’re not yet ready to come to Noaks Ark, we can instead meet in town or at your infectious disease clinic.
We also have the possibility to hold conversations in languages other than Swedish and English.
Support calls
During support sessions, you will meet with a social worker to talk about topics that are important to you as someone living with HIV. Examples include medication and treatment, sexuality and relationships, worries and anxiety, and existential questions.
We can also help you with advice and contacts with, for example Försäkringskassan, social services, and other healthcare/care/authorities.
