HIV TESTING, SUPPORT, AND INFORMATION

The people who come to us are either living with HIV, are close relatives and have the need to talk about HIV, or want to get tested for HIV. We offer education and information in various forms for professional groups and for the general public. If you want to meet up with others who are also living with HIV you are welcome to our activities or our open support activities.

A finger prick test, answers in 20 minutes

Here with us at Noaks Ark Stockholm, you can get tested for HIV easily and free of charge with a quick test. After a capillary blood test, you will receive your answer within 20 minutes. While waiting for the answer, there is an opportunity to talk and ask questions about HIV and other various sexually transmitted diseases. We offer HIV testing both as a drop-in and through booked visits on non-weekend weekdays in central Stockholm.

THERE ARE NO SAD HIV TEST RESULTS ANYMORE

A life without limitations

If you test negative for HIV, you don't have to worry anymore. If you test positive, you will receive medicine that will keep you healthy. HIV that is treated is not transmitted during sex. At many of Noaks Ark's local associations, you can take a quick answer HIV test. A finger-prick test - that's all.

You can turn to our counseling and ask any questions you want regarding HIV or other sexually transmitted and blood-borne diseases and remain completely anonymous. The call is not registered on your phone bill.

We who answer the phones have over 30 years of experience working with HIV. We are available for you on non-holiday weekdays between 10 am and 12 pm. During week 29 and week 30, we are open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Be You! is a project during autumn 2023 that involve drama and psychological group interventions through theatre, peer support and psychological support. You need no skills to be apart of this. Just be yourself, have a good vibe and be ready to have fun! Everyone has an important role to play – come and see.
