Training courses

Research and surveys show that it is particularly important that people who work in the care profession have up-to-date knowledge about HIV. We convey both basic knowledge and in-depth knowledge based on your needs.

When you have received the lecture, you should have acquired factual knowledge that facilitates the meeting with the care recipient/user. You should also feel safer talking about HIV and have gained a deeper understanding of the problems surrounding HIV. Get answers to questions about situations that may arise in your work.

Topics that training courses may cover are, for example: diagnostics, treatment, co-morbidity, quality of life and living conditions, HIV and violence in intimate relationships, HIV stigma and minority stress, HIV, sexuality and gender, treatment, etc.

Knowledge of HIV for you who work in healthcare

Can you answer questions about HIV from your patient? Are you up to date? Do you know in which situations you should suggest an HIV test? How do you convey a safe test result for HIV? What treatment does a patient who has HIV expect?

Knowledge of HIV for you who work in social and elderly care

The treatment of HIV today is amazing! It means that those who have a functioning HIV treatment are expected to be able to live as long as the rest of the population. In the near future, the number of people with HIV who need elderly care will increase. Do you have the skills required to provide a good reception?
