Become a volunteer

Get involved in our association – Become one of us.

You are needed! We at Noaks Ark Stockholm are looking for volunteers for our work to limit the spread of HIV and alleviate its social consequences. We also accept work training and internships depending on our availability. At Noaks Ark Stockholm, you can contribute to reducing stigma and discrimination, acquiring new experiences, and doing good for yourself and others.

Volunteer

A volunteer participates in the association’s activities as much as time and opportunity allow. Being a volunteer is a voluntary assignment and you don’t get paid. You can help out at individual events and activities, or regularly in our daily work. Maybe you want to help out in our open support activities, in our community activities, or at the reception? Another possibility is to hand out materials about HIV, participate in other outward-facing contexts, or be active on social media. As a volunteer, you get the opportunity to meet people with different backgrounds from all over the world. You will also be invited to our continuing education program ARKademin and be part of a larger context with other volunteers.

Job training & internship

We offer the possibility of internship and job training, which takes place within the framework of education or through the Employment Service. Internship and work training is limited in time and does not lead to employment. As part of this, you receive supervision and participation in our continuing education program ARKademin and you become a part of a larger work group and community, as well as participate in our activities.
