Join us in creating a world where living with HIV isn’t limiting
Noaks Ark, a non-profit membership organization located in central Stockholm. We are part of the National Confederation of Noaks Ark. The organization was founded in 1986, and over the years, we have accumulated invaluable experience regarding HIV.
Get involved in the fight against HIV and support those living with the virus. Regardless of whether you are living with HIV or not, you are always welcome to become a member of Noaks Ark Stockholm. You apply by paying the membership fee, which is 25 SEK (incl. VAT) for 2026.
Members have the right to vote at our member meetings and can thus influence the operation. You choose how much you want to get involved – you can either be active and participate in our volunteer assignments or just be a supporting member.

Frequently asked questions about membership in Noaks Ark Stockholm
You become a member when the membership fee is paid. The fee is 25 SEK (incl. VAT) per calendar year. Only private individuals can become members – organizations and companies cannot become members.
As a member, you will receive:
- Our membership letters and newsletters via email
- Invitations to activities and offers that are exclusive to members
- Opportunity to influence the association by voting at annual meetings, writing motions, and running for positions of trust

If you cancel your membership within 14 days of payment, you will receive a refund of your membership fee.
Yes, members who oppose or harm the association can be expelled.
All people are equally welcome, regardless of HIV status. We believe in a world where HIV does not limit, and involvement within Noaks Ark Stockholm can take many different forms. Everyone is affected by HIV – but in different ways.
Employees can be members but do not have voting rights.
