Living with HIV – a resource for adoptive parents

A survey of the Stockholm area’s family law knowledge and attitude.
It is not unexpected that knowledge about HIV is uneven, and a lack of knowledge can contribute to uncertainty and anxiety for both those who meet people living with HIV at their work and those who live with HIV themselves, in situations where it becomes relevant to bring it up. Living with HIV today does not limit one’s health and certainly not one’s ability to parent. That is why this report and future initiatives that highlight HIV in contexts outside of healthcare are so important.
