Prevention

We work preventively through information and education efforts. We focus primarily on HIV, but we also provide information about other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in the field of sexual health. The preventive work also indicate reducing the social vulnerability that people living with HIV can experience as a consequence of discrimination and prejudice linked to the diagnosis.

Education and training

Our lectures is for SFI students as well as for asylum seekers, refugees and other immigrants at venues. We also educate staff groups and volunteers.

Information efforts for the general public

We carry out a number of outreach information efforts, for example during Pride festivals and at markets where many people are gathered. Information material is handed out and we often offer visitors to do a quiz. In connection with World AIDS Day, we usually have a special event. We also provide information via social media.
