The story of a virus
In early 1981, seriously ill men arrive at hospitals in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. Several of them have very rare diseases. No one knows what caused the cases of illness that dramatically lead to death. We don't know it at the time, but HIV already exists in Sweden. Jukka Aminoff talks about the history of HIV and the medical advances that over time have made HIV treatable without the risk of transmission through sex. Bodil Sjöström is interviewing.
