The Board is responsible for the organization\u2019s strategic development and work environment, and you are expected to attend regular board meetings (approximately 10 times per year), as well as participate in other collaborative and representative activities throughout the year. The Board typically consists of around five members, including the chair.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"1267\">The Board is responsible for the organization\u2019s strategic direction and holds ultimate responsibility as the employer, including responsibility for finances and the work environment. Noaks Ark Stockholm is a stable, respected, and influential organization, and we are looking for individuals who can support its continued development and contribute knowledge and networks in areas such as advocacy, research, and strategic work.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1269\" data-end=\"1401\">The organization has approximately 10 employees, 15 hourly staff, and 40 volunteers, with an annual budget of around SEK 10 million.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1403\" data-end=\"1596\">To be elected, you must be or become a member of Noaks Ark Stockholm (membership fee: SEK 25 per year) and must not have any record of debt with the Swedish Enforcement Authority (Kronofogden).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1598\" data-end=\"1858\">The role is carried out primarily on a voluntary basis, without compensation. A limited amount, equivalent to half of the Swedish price base amount, may be allocated in accordance with the Nominating Committee\u2019s proposal and the decision of the annual meeting.<\/p>\n<p data-end=\"2040\">As chair, you are the organization\u2019s primary representative and lead the work of the Board throughout the year.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"91yrho\" data-start=\"2042\" data-end=\"4139\">As a member of the Nominating Committee, you play an important role in supporting the organization\u2019s long-term development. The committee works independently and is responsible for identifying and proposing candidates for elected roles for the upcoming year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4141\" data-end=\"4325\">The workload is greatest during the fall and winter, when you work together with the committee to develop role profiles, interview candidates, and prepare proposals for the next Board.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4327\" data-end=\"4420\">You will receive support from the Executive Director and the Board in carrying out your role.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4422\" data-end=\"4546\">Experience in recruitment, a strong network within relevant fields, or a structured approach to work is considered an asset.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4548\" data-end=\"4708\">This role is voluntary and unpaid.
