Evaluation of the test reception in 2022
Every year, Noaks Ark Stockholm carries out an evaluation of the test reception’s operations with a focus on the experience of the test occasion and the quality of the conversation offered in connection with the visit. Here you can read the results of the 2022 evaluation.
Evaluation of the test reception 2020
Since the opening of the test reception, a total of approximately 16,000 rapid-response HIV tests have been carried out at Noaks Ark Stockholm. It was therefore high time to carry out a more extensive evaluation than the one carried out annually in the form of questionnaires at reception. As you will see from the report, the activity is highly appreciated and fills an important place in Stockholm County in responding to everyone’s right to know their HIV status.
Living with HIV – a resource for adoptive parents
A survey of the Stockholm area’s family law knowledge and attitude.
It is not unexpected that knowledge about HIV is uneven, and a lack of knowledge can contribute to uncertainty and anxiety for both those who meet people living with HIV at their work and those who live with HIV themselves, in situations where it becomes relevant to bring it up. Living with HIV today does not limit one’s health and certainly not one’s ability to parent. That is why this report and future initiatives that highlight HIV in contexts outside of healthcare are so important.
Living with HIV – A support tool
For three years, we ran the Heritage Fund-funded project “The Family Ark” – a platform where children and families living with HIV had the opportunity to exchange experiences, develop knowledge and have new, positive experiences. We have collaborated with experts and other professionals to offer parents knowledge, support, and tools that can make everyday life easier and strengthen the role of parenting. Our hope is that this handbook will give you as a parent inspiration and maybe some new thoughts about what works and what you want to change
