Volunteer
Give us some of your time. You are welcome to get involved in Noaks Ark’s work.
Through our voluntary employees, we can help more people and tap into a broader competence than what would be possible with only our regular employed staff.
Everyone is welcome
Working as a volunteer means that you offer your services voluntarily and without compensation. Everyone, regardless of education or professional background, is welcome to apply for a volunteer assignment at Noaks Ark. Surely you have experience and knowledge that are valuable for Noaks Ark. If you have experience with HIV/AIDS, it is a plus but not a requirement. The main thing is that you are motivated and want to make a difference.
We who work at Noaks Ark have varied professional backgrounds. The staff and volunteers include doctors, nurses, sociologists, assistant nurses, teachers, carpenters, and priests. Of course, both staff and volunteers have a duty of confidentiality.
The assignments as a volunteer vary. It can be helping at dinners or at our test receptions, being a host at one of our courses, or helping us spread information through social media. You don’t have to visit Noaks Ark to help. You can get your workplace involved by starting a sponsor day, booking a lecture, or making a study visit.
